CHINA BROCADES
Two general styles are common for the China trade. The first includes various styles where colour and cords are used with brocade stripes in small effects. Made 29-in. wide, 100 X 84 per inch, 50E./40E. with 2/100's colour, 2/60's cords. The design illustrated gives a brocade style with a plain ground, made 29-in. wide, 100 X 74 per inch,;6's T./30's W., all Egyptian, combed weft. Both styles are bleached and finished in the usual China firm finish
